There are nine individual print galleries showcasing works created during last decades of painting that are in print.  These shows take you on a journey from my period of "Rabbits," through "Blue Fish", to my current path of artistic discovery and my continual observation of life and the human figure.

Whether you are familiar with my work or just discovering it for the first time I hopes are you will explore all the art found on these pages.

This print gallery section includes large prints formatted up to 60" perfect for the larger wall space with many sizes in between.  Editions are small and have been printed on archival watercolor paper or stretched on wrapped canvas for you to hang as is or frame.  They have fully painted wrapped sides, each are remarked, signed, and numbered by myself making each piece unique.

"Celebrating the Styles and Attitudes of Contemporary Women"

These works are inspired by the styles and attitudes of all women.  I have tried to capture the gestures and moods that are fashioned in a look that crosses all cultural and social restraints seeking to find the true internal phenomena of the feminine.  In each piece I hopes all of us can find something of ourselves and the women we love.

"Pieces of the Heart"

"This series "Pieces of the Heart" I began in 2006, and is one I still feel very compelled to create.  These paintings are a natural path from the "3 Naked Ladies" series and the earlier paintings of "Blue Fish."  Both series travel from reality to illusion as they follow our dreams...

"Blue Fish"  

The "Blue Fish" have been surfacing in my works since 2003.  They aren't planned they just arrive.  The presence of "Blue Fish" is like understanding a dream, the enlightenment of a conversation, or the satisfaction we find in a solitary moment. We can't explain it--it is what it is." 

Along with my passion to paint I have always had the drive to create through the print medium.  I studied printmaking in art school and apprenticed at several print shops exploring many different techniques including lithography, offset, and screen printing.  In my thirty years of printmaking I continue to execute the fine art of reproducing by creating my own giclee prints. Owning the finest equipment available I calibrates my own colors to match the original.  Each is hand worked to make it one of-a-kind pieces of art;  hand coloring or painting, collages, or mixed media. I prefer working in small editions from as few as one piece to a small run of 50. These works are printed with museum quality archival inks on archival papers and wrapped canvas that have been tested for up to 125 years.

"Blue Fish & Ladies"

"The Blue Fish" have been surfacing in my works since 2003.  They aren't planned they just arrive.  The presence of "Blue Fish" is like understanding a dream, the enlightenment of a conversation, or the satisfaction we find in a solitary moment. We can't explain it-- it is what it is, even with the ladies!

Just what we have here in Maine, one in a million is Blue! True and it is against the law to keep them if caught in a trap, lobstermen consider it good luck to catch one!  I consider it good luck to have them in my paintings!

"Paper Girls Collages"

In these works,  inspired by the styles and attitudes of all women again, I have tried to capture the gestures and moods that fashion a look that crosses all cultural and social restraints to find the true internal phenomena of the feminine, this time by using mixed media.  Paper, paint, India ink, and found objects.
