Along
with Russell's passion to paint he has always had the drive to create through the print
medium. He studied printmaking in art school and apprenticed at several
print shops exploring many different techniques including lithography, offset,
and screen printing. His thirty years of printmaking continues as
he execute the fine art of reproducing his own giclee prints. Owning the finest
equipment available Russell calibrates his own colors to expertly match the original.
Each is hand worked to make them one of a kind pieces of art, hand
coloring, collages, or mixed media. He prefers working in small editions from
as few as 1 to a small run of 25. He prints with museum quality archival inks
on archival papers tested for up to 125 years.
